The song was recorded in a country house, I managed to put a group of musicians (and also friends) together and we recorded live a lot of instruments and voices, then some overdubs were added at the Electrical Storm studio. It's a song that I've been playing for a little while and I feel very comfortable with. The text is a self-talk, an inner dialogue between a wise part and an impetuous, youthful part. The first one shows the second one something illuminating that is only hinted at and never fully revealed. Compared to the past, it is the first lyrics I tried to have a different approach with, giving much more importance to the concepts rather than the melody.
lyrics
Look at me, this suit fits so well, close the door I've got something to say
my mind is clear, there's nothing left, we can talk 'till the end of the day
an evil God, used to tell me "dude, what's wrong with you?"
but I feel fine 'cause find out nobody can't hurt me with their tongue
see what I'm talking about, do you feel like crying? Your past doesn't mean a
thing
look at you, so self confident, you're a slave but you act like a king
apparences betray the truth, who are you and what are you thinking right now
an evil God, used to tell me "dude, what's wrong with you?"
but I feel fine 'cause find out nobody can't hurt me with their tongue
